Common Questions: Emergencies

We understand dental emergencies can happen at the most inconvenient times. It is important to maintain your dental health with regular hygiene and exams to lessen the chance of emergencies.

What is considered a dental emergency?

  • Lost tooth due to force such as a sports injury.
  • Infection with rapid swelling.
  • Sudden Pain, heat and/or redness.
  • Bleeding

If your emergency occurs during office hours please call 250-763-3338 right away to secure your emergency appointment time. Occasionally emergencies happen when the office is closed and we will open the office to treat you. Please bring an additional $131 to cover the BC Fee Guide’s After Hours Office Charge.
